Product: OceanLife Magnesium 500ml
Features:
The Berliner bases its success on the use of live rock , strong lighting, abundant water movement and filtration entrusted to a skimmer . In this way it creates an environment that simulates what happens in the natural reef , or the removal of pollutants by surface- skimmer and a reduction in non-polar compounds pollutants by live rocks (which are home to an internal collection of microorganisms able to complete the nitrogen cycle ) .
Magnesium is a very important element for the life of marine organisms and for the chemical balance of the water.
It is normally eaten by many organisms such as corals and coralline algae that incorporate this element within its skeleton.
Magnesium also has a primary importance for the role it has on the balance of calcium and alkalinity. The sea water and then the aquarium , they are always supersaturated with calcium carbonate . The level of calcium and carbonates are perpetually higher than the value that the water can be kept in balance . This is explained by the Magnesium . Indeed, when the carbonate begins to precipitate , the Magnesium binds to the surface of the crystal of calcium carbonate that is growing , effectively preventing any further deposition and blocking the precipitation . From here it is unclear how to avoid many ( seemingly inexplicable ) balance issues of calcium carbonate, magnesium is necessary to maintain a natural volori . Magnesium is the most effective and easy way to replenish magnesium in reef aquaria . Its formulation is unique and highly concentrated.
Dosage:
Measure the concentration of magnesium in the water bath and add their own daily until reaching 1450 mg / l (ppm ) . Do not add more than 25-30 mg / l per day . Tested periodically to maintain the value at the right level . Shake well before use .
Dosage simplified :
3 ml every other day on average 100 liters in aquarium populated . In case of higher or lower consumption , change the amount or frequency of integrations. |
